Event schedule

The Future of Joy and the Good Life Conference & Teaching Workshop begins at 8am on July 31st and ends in the afternoon on  Aug 1st.   The Teaching Workshop begins at dinner on  Aug 1st and ends after lunch on Aug 3rd.  View all scheduling details (including list of speakers!) here

Campus map

Yale Divinity School is beautiful, but it isn't the easies to space to find your way around.  This map shows all rooms that will be used during the conference and teaching workshop.  If you have trouble finding anything, please drop by the information desk!

local eats & Drinks

All meals will be provided to event attendees, but should you be looking for a special late night bite or an afternoon coffee, we wanted to be sure you found your way to one of New Haven's finest!  We've prepared both an at-a-glance list and a custom Google Map, so you can just click and go. 

Morning/evening hotel transportation

Complimentary shuttle buses will run on a loop between the Divinity School, the Courtyard, the New Haven Hotel, and the Omni each morning, beginning at 7:20am and ending at 9:30am.  The buses will also loop between the school and hotels each evening, after the last event of the day.   Full morning/evening hotel transportation details are available here

Special wednesday afternoon transportation schedule

On Wednesday afternoon, we've scheduled several optional outings.  If you haven't reserved your space on one of them-- drop by the information desk and grab a spot while you still can!

This bus schedule shows to the pick up and drop off times for shuttles going to and from excursions, but also to and from the downtown hotels.  That way, if you're not participating in an excursion, you can head back to your hotel for a short rest.

daytime transportation around new Haven

Should you find yourself needing to run downtown during the day, please know that, as a conference guest, the Yale Shuttle is available to you.   The red, yellow, and blue lines pick up and drop off right in front of the Divinity School.  For directions on how to use this free service, click here
